Carwald Redi-Mix was established in 1958 by Carson and Walter Porisky. With two small ready mix plants and a gravel pit, Carwald relied on its dedicated employees to service the High Prairie and Valleyview areas in Alberta. With time, Carwald morphed into sects and moved into further area of interest toward the Slave Lake Area. In 1982, Carson's son, Ken moved to Slave Lake with two concrete mixer trucks and a small portable batch plant that he had purchased and started to establish a dominant presence in the ready mix market. With larger and larger projects, Ken grew the business with his dedicated staff through the 90s and eventually expanded the companies operations into sand and gravel production for its clients. With the addition of the sand and gravel division, Carwald's two divisions work synergistically...
